Wow O.o what an insane weekend! actually, I should really say; 'What an insane month!' since the lead up to WCS selections consisted of very little sleep, a lot of sewing, and way too much over due uni work ... >.> haha oh well (You can tell I really care about my uni work )

I found it funny that everyone was calling this years competition the "cursed year". Though there's definitely some truth there! For those that didn't watch/follow the WCS; basically every team this year had something bad go wrong to them throughout the day. (kinda makes you wonder what'll happen next year O.o)
It started off with the guys from Contra Mundi having to pull out the day of the competition, due to Nny giving himself a concussion that morning. And then from there, everyone's props began to fall apart, fall off costumes and skits fell apart too. O.o man that was an interesting day. For and myself, it started when we forgot to bring our pouch of sand we were going to use in our skit which is a darn shame considering we made a special trip to the beach at 1am in the morning, ran away from bogans, and jumped over rocks just to get it
DX and we majorly stuffed up the skit too (Though thats DX my fault). I almost took out twice with that huge sword. She's very lucky she didn't get concussed as well

WCS was quite the experience. There were so many amazing cosplayers that we were up against O.o And every single one of them was outstanding! In both costumes and skits. I'm really very glad I met everyone, and congratulations to all! XD You guys all deserve a Place! A very big congrats to Asham and Mel for winning

ok. I just want to say a super huge thanks to (my cosplay idol and partner! XD) for all your help and perseverance throughout WCS. And thanks so much for allowing me to pretty much live at your place when my sewing maching broke a week before the comp! XD I'd have been so doomed otherwise
I also have to give a huuuuuuuge shoutout to both and for helping us get our costumes completed in time Thanks so much guys! You're both legends.

Well ... as much as I enjoyed WCS, Meeting with old and new friends, and spending too much money on anime ... I am well and truly glad I'm back in warm brissy catching up on my sleep
... >.> but I'm not looking forward to having to work through my large pile of uni assignments ... (kill me)
